The ten day of atonement are yet to begin, but the mind has a calendar of it's own, and I've been already contemplating about the year that's ending and the one that's about to begin.
Despite the many accomplishments and wonderful changes I personally had this past year, there's a bitter taste of disappointment. Only a couple of years ago we all could "taste" peace in Israel. Now, with the world divided into "good" and "evil", it seems like a fantasy.
For the coming new year, I pray and hope that all of us humans will find peace in our own hearts, practice loving-kindness towards everyone, and strive to make peace a reality.
